AND....IT'S EASY!!

 

The State of Michigan has now set up all Elections, including School Elections to be handled by the Townships. The State refers to this as "CONSOLIDATED ELECTIONS".

What Does This Mean?

By consolidating all Elections through the Township, you as the "Voter" will have just one precinct location to vote at from now on. That precinct will be the location where you vote the General Elections.

  1. Lakeland Reformed Church

  2. Country Christian Evangelical Free Church

  3. Pavilion Township Hall
    7510 East Q Ave.
    Scotts, MI 49088

ABSENTEE BALLOT VOTING:

Please contact your Township Clerk (Karen Siegwart) if you would like to request to be put on a Permanent Absentee Ballot Voting List if you are over 60 years of age. Your Absentee Voting Application will be automatically mailed to you before each election.

OPTICAL SCAN VOTING SYSTEMS:

Pavilion Township now runs voting procedures with the "Optical Scan Voting System".             This means:

  1. Easy color in the oval voting.

  2. Allows more voting booths, which will make less waiting time.

A quick and secure vote count.
